Free Resume Templates
There are literally thousands of free resume templates and examples online. And with just a few exceptions, the one thing that they all have in common is that they lack originality, personality, or character. I honestly find it hard to believe that so many people use them. And then they wonder why they didn't get the job.
Again, while there are thousands of these free resume examples and templates available, I only provide a few links on this page. Quality is more of a concern to me than quantity. Also, the type of template is very important. A good template should be downloadable with the ability to be changed and formatted to your specific needs and job application.
One more thing. I don't necessarily feel that using a template "just as it is" is the way to go. You'll be better off using them as a guideline and to customize, write, and create your own resume. While they are a good learning and practice tool they often lack originality, personality, and can make you appear lazy.
However, if writing your own is not an appealing option to you, it's worth every penny to hire a professional to write or critiqe your resume for you.
